Overview: This is a treat! There are two canyons to see- don’t get lost though. If you continue down Chute Canyon, you’re in for a nasty surprise if unprepared. Baptist Draw offers a nice rappel and some beautiful slots.

Approach: The Baptist Draw loop starts from a road that veers from Hidden Splendor Rd. Round trip about 7 miles. From I-70 exit 129 Temple Mountain Road heading south or from Hwy 24 take Temple Mountain Rd West to Hidden Splendor Rd. Turn south toward Red Canyon Loop. Take the Hidden Splendor Rd south 5.3 miles to a small 2WD road on the left. After 2.7 miles a 4WD road comes on the left. Drive another 0.1 miles and park. Just north is a wash find it and follow it, but this is not the wash you want to follow to Chute. Continue north to another wash – this is Baptist Draw. Guides and maps would be recommended  my little explanation will probably get you lost. Maybe my google map can shed some light. The exit from Chute Canyon is when Chute opens up and “T’s - head west to your car.)
