Overview:  This canyon offers several short rappels, a few extremely cold swims, and some fabulous narrows. Echo is shaded well and the water within remains freezing even in the summer months! Contains a Keeper-hole, so don't attempt alone!

Approach:

From Weeping Rock hike up the Echo Canyon Trail toward Observation Point. At trail junction take the right branch toward Cable Mountain. After about 10 minutes, the trail crosses a small canyon. Just a bit  further, step off the trail to the right, and follow a small trail along the rim of the small canyon, and then down a steep hill into the canyon.
