The area to access South Oak Creek crosses private property and is closed!

Quick Guide:  A nice canyon that is spring fed. The technical sections of this canyon are outside of park and don’t require permits. Because you will be accessing Kolob Creek it is a necessity to call the Washington County water District to check water levels (435-673-3617).

Approach:

From Virgin, Utah drive North on Kolob Reservoir Road toward Lava Point. Exit Lava point and leave a car here. Head back out to Kolob Terrace road and continue north to Oak Basin road. Oak Basin road crosses into private property and is closed for the time being.
