Overview: Phipps Canyon offers some natural arches, and some awesome narrows. Off the beaten path, this canyon requires some moderate canyoneering skills for the adventurer.

Approach: From Hwy 12 leaving Escalante, turn right on Sheffield Road. Drive along Sheffield for .25 miles to find a pull off.  The canyon lies just east of the parking spot.
