The Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument dominates any National Park in the USA with its 1.7 million acres. Unlike most National monuments Escalante Grand Staircase is administered by the Bureau of Land Management, rather than the National Park Service. The Park contains a huge variety of land formations, canyons, cliffs, plateaus and world class features that are found nowhere else. It is divided into three distinct sections: the Grand Staircase, the Kaiparowits Plateau, and the Canyons of the Escalante.
