Overview: Kelly Canyon is a lovely walk in the park. Kelly Canyon offers possible water and large canyon walls. The canyon is relatively open with no narrow sections. Much of the canyon provides vegetation and beautiful limestone canyon walls. There are no actual technical sections – of courses; there are many places one could rock climb in Kelly Canyon.

Approach: From Flagstaff, head south on I-17 to Kelly Canyon Rd, about 9 miles south of Flagstaff. Park at the end of Kelly Canyon Rd.

Completing the Canyon: You may find a social trail heading north and dropping right into Kelly Canyon. Follow the canyon west. Once you reach Pumphouse Wash, turn back or explore more of the area. If you see powerlines overhead on the way back, you've gone too far. You may then follow the powerlines back to Kelly Canyon Rd.
