Overview: A lovely forested waltz. The Fry Canyon of Arizona offers nothing technical or too complex.
Approach: From Flagstaff, head south on Hwy 89A. Drive 9.3 miles just past mile marker 393. The highway passes right over Fry Canyon. On the southwest side of the junction where Fry Canyon and Hwy 89A intersect is your best bet for parking.
Completing the Canyon: Follow the Canyon upstream (west) as far as you desire before heading back to your vehicle. Further downstream is Pumphouse Wash and Kelly Wash.
