Mogollon Rim
The Mogollon Rim is a geographical and geological region running across Arizona. It extends approximately 200 miles from northern Yavapai County eastward to near the border with New Mexico dividing Arizona in half. The Rim is characterized by limestone and sandstone cliffs, namely the Kaibab Limestone and Coconino Sandstone. Formed by erosion and faulting many canyons can be explored along the rim.
